For two double gin (Bombay) and tonic it cost 39 euros which is extremely expensive and purchasing a whole bottle would have been cheaper.

Good hot shower, simple to use, good non-pretentious tiles. I liked the mezzanine space upstairs. Practical sized balcony facing the wonderful forest with sounds of hibous or chouettes, not sure which. Plenty of sockets for electrical gadgets and some space in the fridge

At reception they spoke perfect English, came to our room willingly to show us how the safe worked

Lovely people, Clarice, Allan, Nadia, took time to explain the menu. I thought the €32 menu was reasonably priced, also the wines, we had the white Saumur and the Côtes du Rhône which tasted even better next day. My entrecôte was very chewy but that’s a detail

Good service- accommodated meals for a vegetarian. Only once was there a limited choice of food, due to a large booking, so we couldn’t eat.

Overall price for the booking was very reasonable. We booked an additional game on the 9 hole course. As I have a troublesome hip I booked an electric trolley. This was very expensive, compared to the reasonable price of hiring a buggy when we played the 18 hole course. The trolley stopped working after 4 holes. I couldn’t manage to push it. We tried phoning reception, but couldn’t get through, My partner removed the battery and re- connected it and managed to get it going.

The room was clean and worked very well for us. It had everything we need.

Room was not as described when booking. We were told a room with balcony overlooking lake. We were given a room on ground floor looking out on the first tee.

Service in the restaurant was excellent. However service relating to the golf at St Malo not so. We arrived on the first tee to be met by another couple who informed us that they had been paired up with us. The reception made no reference to this and it did not appear necessary as the tee time immediately before ours had not been taken.
