The Saint-Malo Golf Resort: the story of a priory that has evolved with the times!
At the beginning of the 12th century, a hermit named Gaultier and his disciples founded a priory that later became an abbey, before eventually hosting Robert Surcouf, Saint-Malo's famous and fearless corsair, during his hunting trips.
In 1986, the Saint-Malo Golf course was created, designed by architect Hubert Chesneau, who brilliantly combined granite formations, trees, and nature into a diverse and sporty layout across a 100-hectare estate.
The Saint-Malo Golf Resort opened in 2003, built around a Club House that respects the architecture of the former priory, featuring wooden beams and exposed stonework to preserve the 19th-century manor house atmosphere.
At the heart of this estate, the golf course with its 9 and 18-hole courses, the 29-room hotel, and the restaurant with panoramic views of the Mirloup pond will ensure you enjoy a wonderful stay surrounded by natural beauty and modern comfort.
